San Bruno Mountain

We’ve partnered with the Sierra Club and other local organizations to halt the construction of an 890,000 square-foot two-level building suitable for a combination of modern warehousing, light industrial, assembly and manufacturing uses, or “advanced manufacturing”. Including a road through Priority 1 and 2 endangered species habitat.
This is the wrong project in the wrong place: it's time to let the San Bruno Mountain heal.

We partnered with the Association of Ramaytush Ohlone to stop the
encroachment on local Shell Mounds by a construction site. We are still monitoring the site with the current construction.
Sign Hill
Technically a foothill to San Bruno Mountain, Sign Hill in South San Francisco was cut off from the greater mountain by the development of Hillside road and Paradise Valley. Rich in native wildlife and home to endangered species like
the Mission Blue and Callippe Silverspot butterflies, Sign Hill
is stewarded by South San Francisco’s Natural Resources Specialist and their team of volunteers,
the Sign Hill Stewards.
